Check In Tuesday #10

Hey Guys, how are you all doing? I cant believe we are on another Tuesday already?! Seriously where are the days going? We are almost in the middle of the month.

So here is another Check In with you guys from the past week:

• Driving Progress Report: I have been going out and about in my mums car the past few days just getting all comfortable in her car and I'm slowly growing on my confidence. I am actually really enjoying it even though sometimes I do get nervous cause I'm in the car with my mum and I want to make her proud.
• I went to see The Fault In Our Stars on Friday with my girlies, I read the book so I knew what I was letting my poor emotional self in for.....my goodness!! My eyes were still suffering on Saturday from all the tears!! I thoroughly recommend seeing it. If you can read the book first (its one those quick reads) do it, then see the film. Or see the film then read the book. Either way they are both awesome.
• Carrying on The Fault In Our Stars (well kinda), I have been listening to a lot of music lately on my iPod. My current faves have to be The Fault In Our Stars Soundtrack my fave song on it has to be by Kodaline called All I Want (you need to listen to this beautiful song and watch the music video for it) and I really like Charli xcx song Boom Clap. I been listening to Ed Sheeran's new album too and of course Lana Del Rey (love her), that woman can sing. Her new album Ultraviolence is just beautiful.
• Does anyone else just get paid then feel skint (poor) like the next day? haha honestly I just been paid and I have so much things happening this month that I feel the beauty treats are going to have to be put on hold this month. I have been raiding my cupboards and found a few forgotten gems so been using some of them in my routine lately. Might even blog about some of them.
• I have a new addiction people and its youtube but more importantly its a certain channel, it s The Sacconejoly's!! They are this family that lived in Ireland they have just moved over to England and they have a girl who is the cutest little toddler ever, an adorable baby boy and 6 dogs!! They vlog every single day! Showing what they get up to in their general family life! I love watching vlogs and this family are my new favourites, Check them out HERE. 
• I been feeling pretty happy and lucky the past few days on just my life in general. I'm so lucky to have some pretty awesome friends I honestly don't know what I would do without them I love them and they know who they are! I love my little poppet aka Gordee (boyfriend) he never fails to make me smile even when I have a down day. And last but not least my family, they have made me who I am today, I have had many ups and downs in my little life but I feel that they have made me who I am today which is a pretty happy and positive person. Thank You and I Love You.

Check In Tuesday #8

Alohaaaaaaa

Can we just appreciate this pic ^^^^ I badly wish I was there right now. I have missed my little check in with you guys I hope you are all well. So in case you have missed any of my previous Check Ins this is my weekly post where I just pretty much ramble about things that have been happening in my life

• So I had a little date night few Fridays ago with the bf Gordee and we went to see Need for Speed. Now I didn't think I was going to like it at all, I'm not a fan of car films but I think it having Arron Paul also known as Jesse from Breaking Bad made me actually love it and I'm not gonna lie I now have a bit of a crush on him now.
• I have gotten older and turned 25!!
• Gordee and I moved house and we are all settled in, its starting to feel like home. Winston our black cat is also getting settled in too. We are like a happy little family.
• I'm getting stuck in to my Harry Potter books, so much things in the books that's not in the films although the films are still awesome.
• Gordee and I have started to watch The Walking Dead and OMG! I am very scared by zombies but I am managing to watch it. At the scary parts I just hide under my panda blanket.
• I am due an upgrade for my phone I currently have the iPhone4 but its time to trade her up for something new, I am loving the look of the iPhone 5s and the Camera has much better quality photos. We shall see what I decide.
• I have had 10 days off work with moving house and getting all settled in I also met friends, had a driving lesson, got a facial and just enjoyed some time off. Now I'm back at work and feels so strange, I will get back into a routine soon enough.
• I been trying out a few new make up bits so expect reviews on them in the next few weeks ;)
• Also I'm going on a little trip with some friends and Gordee at the weekend and I'm very excited, I will be taking photos and I do plan on blogging about it so I'm not going to say much about it just 2 words "cute animals"

That's really all from me today my lovelies, I haven't been up to that much but still wanted to put up a little check in seen as how I didn't when we were moving. I hope you enjoyed it none the less and I look forward to next weeks one, hopefully it will be tad more exciting.

Check In Tuesday #7

Hiya beautiful people

It is that time again for another little Check In with you loverly lot :)

 

• From last week I am all healthy again, I defeated the bug that had me bed ridden and now I am back to my bouncing happy self.
• Gordee and I have completed Season 1 and 2 of Game of Thrones I am now searching on Amazon for Season 3 to keep in my little basket till pay day. We love it that much we are willing to buy it!!
• I have about a week and a half to go and I will then be living in my new home, I am super super excited but I am also a little sad I will be leaving this flat. It was my first home by myself being all independent for over 2 years but I am looking forward to having a house this time with so much more storage and things that excite me like a garden.
• On the note of moving I have Officially started to pack!!! The cat Winston hasn't been very helpful by hiding and running round playing in the boxes :/
• Totally failing on the book front just now I'm not feeling it this week I look at it and I'm just like meh!!! Maybe I need a different book to read and leave that one for another time.
• One thing I most certainly need to do is my driving theory, I had a lesson today and my instructor asked when I booked my theory test....yeah I haven't! I suck so bad at numbers and there's a bit you need to learn about stopping distance and I cant seem to get it stuck in my head!!! So that in mind I am now going to make sure I do a bit of Theory every night and go over it again and again so its stuck into my head!!!
• I reached over a 100 peeps over on Bloglovin the past few days!! How awesome is that? Hello new peeeeeeps I'm so excited you have joined me over here to read my ramblings haha hope your not too disappointed. Hello to you lovely lot who have been there from the start too. Love you all!!
• And finally the image I have used for this Check In is a cake!!! That's cause this Saturday the 22nd of March I will be turning 25 years old!!! Feels like just the other day I celebrated my 21st, my plans are lunch with my girlies (hello ladies if your reading) and then I'm going to my mum and stepdads with Gordee to have dinner with them and all my step sisters (there's 3)  one and her husband, the other 2 and their boyfriends and one has a little girl, my beautiful niece!! Sorry if that was confusing ha!!

Check In Tuesday #6

Hey Guys

How are you all? Hope everyone's good and feeling pretty happy and positive. Spring is well on its way and that has defiantly cheered me up. Its that day again where I ramble on about some things I am loving or disliking at the moment, cant believe this is my 6th Check In Tuesday already! I have no idea where the weeks are going!!

 

 

• So the end of last week I became rather poorly and caught the dreaded flu!! I had quite a few days in my bed and then progressively moved to the sofa which means I haven't done that much.
• Being poorly ment I managed to get a few episodes of Vampire Diaries Season 5 and OMG its sooooo good.
• I also have been reading my book and every evening I make sure I read a bit of it even if it is just a few pages its better than it just sitting collecting dust which was what it done throughout February (I blame VD on Netlix)
• Looks like Gordee and I have a new home guys!!! YAY!!! moving at the end of march wooooo!!
• Also we started watching Game of Thrones, I bought Gordee it as part of his Christmas both seasons 1 and 2 so we started watching that. It needs my full concentration that show cause so much is going on.
• At my job we get the most loveliest customers who at Christmas time gave us tins of sweeties and biscuits, we have a customer who bakes cakes for us and last week I had one that brought in some cardboard boxes she had for me to start with my packing its people that them that make me love my job and know that if your nice to someone they can be nice back :)
• I have been going on the vibration plates at my work they aim to help you tighten and tone, I'm giving them a go as I am rather curious to see what sort of affect it has done to my body at the end of the month.
• At the weekend I hit 900 followers on Instagram this might not seem a lot to some of you but it certainly cheered my poorlyself up, if any of you would also like to follow and you don't already just click here, I post regularly.
• Could Spring finally be on its way? The sun has come out to play quite a few times now and its not nearly so cold ,here's hoping it is as I am missing the lighter nights for walking.

Check In Tuesday #5

Hi Guys

Its time for another Check In with you beautiful bunch, I hope you are all well and happy :)

• My laptop has been fixed Yay!!! There is still a few little glitches with it but I am on to working them out so the good news is that I can finally get back in to blogging. I'm so happy its fixed.
• I have finished my Vampire Diaries binge :( So now I'm a little stuck, over here in the UK Season 5 has already started so I cant catch up which means the wait begins for Season 5 to go on to Netflix.
• Since finishing my binge on Netflix I have started watching good old Buffy but only the odd episode here and there, I'm not hooked yet haha.
• I have started my book again and I am finally getting back into it, I forgot how much I liked it that I am determined to read a bit each day.
• I have also been enjoying my past few driving lessons and I am now feeling pretty positive about it and feeling that I CAN do this!!! So I need to pass my theory, I have been reading my theory books and doing practise tests on my laptop and I am doing not bad.
• On the home front we may have a possible new place to live we are waiting to sign the contract before getting all excited, I think I will do a possible post on some home inspirations.
• Boots 3 for 2 is killing my bank balance at the moment haha I have been treating myself to plenty body lotions and potions but I decided yesterday was my last trip of this offer so no more spending in Boots for a while which is going to be hard considering its my birthday month and I received in the post from Boots a double points card you can use the entire month of your birthday.
• My birthday is coming up!!! Yay!!! and I will be turning 25 I don't think I will do a wish list post as I'm happy with money or gift cards.

Check In Tuesday #4

Aloha!!

Hope you guys are all happy and positive, it's that time again where I "Check In" with you and just ramble on to you about what I have been up to and stuff.

• So I have been feeling a bit meh this past week, I think its to do with the weather getting me a bit down. I'm fed up of being cold and it doesn't help that this flats heating hardly makes a difference. However I have been feeling happier and positive noticing that the light mornings are coming and the days are stretching. Our flat has lots of bunches of daffodils and it makes me happy knowing that spring is coming.
• I am still on The Vampire Diaries binge now on Season 4! Half way through and I have no idea what I'm going to do when I finish it. I will have to start watching The Originals as they are my favourites! I really want to watch Game of Thrones too, I got Gordee the box set for part of his Christmas and still haven't watched it yet.
• Still haven't got stuck in to my book :( its kinda frustrating as I really want to get into reading more but I'm being sucked in to Netflix haha 
• The reason I have been a tad on the lazy side is that I have been home hunting and I may have possibly found our new home. It's not 100% yet but its very possible and I am super super excited about it.
• Ooo my new make up bag from Paul&Joe came and it is super cute. I have just about organised it so I will do a post about that soon.
• I think my laptop has a bit of a virus which is why I haven't been blogging so much, so it might be going away from me for a bit :( but Gordee says I can use his which is a scary mac laptop.
• I have been having quite a few minimal make up days and I have to say my skin is really appreciating it.
• My love for Superdrugs Vitamin E's range is growing fast, I recently purchased the Day and the Night cream and wow my skin is loving me right now.
• My poor nails are having a horrendous time right now breaking and peeling but I will keep on treating them.

Check In Tuesday #3

Hello Fellow bloggers and readers hope we are all well and happy.

That's another Tuesday almost over with over here in Scotland so here I am sharing with you a few things I been up to and loving or hating right now.

• The weather over here in the UK has been utter pants and my thoughts for those poor folk down in England who's homes have been terrorised by these storms causing mass flooding. I have family down in England and I was rather worried about them all but I was informed that they were all safe and the weather hasn't affected them. We have been pretty lucky where I am in Scotland that we haven't had any bad storms or snow (touch wood). 
• I love coconut oil!! Okay so recently my scalp hasnt been itself and its been bit dry and flaky. 2 sunday nights ago I asked on the #bbloggers chat whats a good treatment hoping for some cheap answers and wow there was so many to choose from but the most popular item was coconut oil. So I went out and bought myself some read the instructions on how to use it as a scalp treatment and my gosh was I impressed with these results. I might do a blog post on this after trying it a few more times. 
• Twinings have some new green tea flavours coming out and I am dying to get my hands on them.
• I'm still trying to grow my nails, there was some peeling and breaking so I have cut them back down to stumps haha hoping that they will grow nice and healthy without breaking.
• Is it sad that I'm excited about buying a new make up bag?! Well I am and I will do a blog post on it as its a pretty special looking make up bag.
• I am still on a Vampire Diaries binge on Netflix and I have just finished season 3! Oh my gosh sooooo much drama!!!
•  I have been slacking on reading my book lately (I blame netflix) but I am determined to get back into it and try and read a bit each night an hour before sleepy time.
• Music I am all about the girls this week. Our tickets came for Katy Perry in May and you may or may not know I AM SOOOOO EXCITED!!!! So other than her I have been listening to Lana Del Rey, have you heard her song for the Maleficent movie? She sounds amazing. Taylor Momsen is back with The Pretty Reckless and my gosh she sounds awesome in their new song Heaven Knows and lastly Shakira!!!! Im not so much a fan of Rihanna anymore but these 2 together make one heck of a tune Cant Remember To Forget You is on repeat a lot while I'm doing the housework its just so catchy.

Check in Tuesday #2

Hi guys and Happy Tuesday

How are you guys? Hope your all well and happy feeling positive.

So we are at another Check In Tuesday Wow that's come round quick. 

• This week its Valentines and Gordee and myself will get it spend it together this year, Yay!! We never got to spend it together last year so I'm looking forward to it this year. Even just a nice cosy night in with a movie and I'm happy.
• I have been obsessing over the film Frozen recently, seriously guys its awesome. I actually ended up buying the soundtrack and been listening to it in the morning getting ready for work, call me sad but I love a Disney film.
• Another thing I'm a bit late to is Vampire Diaries, I was pretty bored and I needed something to watch so I went on to Netflix and thought I would see what its all about, I am hooked!! That's me on season 3 and wow its so so good.
• Gordee and I are currently looking into finding a new place to live so I have been seeing some lovely pieces of furniture and bits and bobs for the new home, its all very exciting. Might do a homey stuff post.
• Also have you guys noticed that its slowly getting lighter in the mornings?! Which means Spring is coming Yay!!
• I have been trying out a few beauty treats from The Body Shop I will do a review soon.
• Also been trying out a new face mask by Superdrug and its so lovely I will also be reviewing it in the near future.
• I am drinking a lot of green tea lately especially twinings with lemon and another with pomegranate have been my favourites.
• That's all really from me tonight, sometimes I feel I live a rather boring life but I do love a good ramble and chit chat.

Check in Tuesdays #1

Hi Everyone

Now that Mondays past I find a lot of folk moaning about Tuesdays being a bit on the boring side, it's the day after Monday so we are getting closer to another weekend but its not the middle of the week and it feels like we have ages to go till the weekend! I however don't mind Tuesdays :) I always think when I finish work only one more day (Wednesday) then only 2 days to go and its the weekend again!

So I have decided that I'm going to post up a blog post every Tuesday to just "check in" with you all. Maybe mention a few things I'm loving at the moment or things that I'm not so loving. Maybe a few inspirational posts on things that I'm loving right now, basically a random post every Tuesday!!

• So like most girls I love flowers and ones I like especially are Sunflowers, Tulips and Daffodils so when I see a bunch of Tulips in Tesco the other day I had to get some. They are so pretty and colourful they remind me that Spring is coming.
• As some of you beautiful bunch may or may not know I am learning to drive and today I had my first morning driving lesson. With it being winter majority of my lessons have been in the evening as that's when I'm mostly free however it can be pretty quiet in the evenings which is fab to start you off but now I'm needing some traffic. So half 7 in the morning I hit the road with my instructor and drove about town in the morning rush. I rather enjoyed my mornings lesson and I felt pretty good being up super early and not rushing around for work.
• Ever since seeing them few weekends ago I havent stopped listening to City and Colour seriously guys they are so amazing you should check them out.
• I have recently noticed my nails have started to peel its with all the cleaning I do at my work, so I decided to cut them back short and let them grow lovely and healthy again so no nail polish for me for a few weeks.
• Another thing Im a bit excited about is kinda quite sad and its that I have ordered new glasses. I do wear contact lenses most of the time but I do like to wear my glasses from time to time.
• I have been on Instagram a lot lately I been trying to upload a photo every day or 2, I am rather addicted to it at the moment. I just love following other bloggers and seeing what they have been up to and what they been buying. I quite often find new blogs to read that way too.
• A food I have been loving recently is granola, there's this cereal you get in asda and its Hawaiian cereal crunch and its amazing! I have it with some peach and passion fruit yogurt and it is yummmmmy!

So there we have it my first random Tuesday Check In, hope you guys don't mind it. I am trying to be a little different and not just ramble on about beauty treats.
