Hi Guys

Hey beauties how are you all?!

I am sorry that I haven't blogged in the past week or 2, the reason for that is thanks to this little furry black ball pictured ^

Yes, its Winston! So Winston has been an indoor cat for almost a year now and when we moved to our house in April you could tell he wanted to try and investigate the outdoors. So like over protective parents Gordee and I went and bought a lead for him so he could try out the outdoors of the back garden. Where we live there is a busy road outside the front of our house but we hope he will stay round the back of the houses and just roam around there. Well we have been doing this for the past few days out on the hot sunny days and the cheeky little monkey caught fleas! The past week we have been flea bombing and cleaning this flat, currently hoovering everyday, have piles and piles of washing to do, the poor cat has had plenty of baths. This has been consuming my days for the past week and its driving me mad!!

I am finally getting on top of the mountain of washing, the fleas are slowly going, my bites are fading slowly and Winston has been clean from fleas the past few days. It can take up to a few weeks to get the house completely clear of them so we just need to keep doing what we're doing. I could give you top marks on flea bombs, flea cleaning sprays, flea prevention sprays, flea treatment and flea prevention treatment but that would be a rather dull post. I haven't forgotten about you lovely lot I have just been super busy cleaning my house :(

There will be a new post up in the next few days and I will be getting back on top of it soon.

Love you guys

This Weeks Nails: Essie Lilacism

So lately I have been painting my nails a lot more and I'm actually really enjoying it. Its almost therapeutic taking off the old nail polish, selecting a new shade to wear, prep'in the nails with a good old file the occasional buff and a few coats of base before the chosen shade gets brushed on. Love it.

As you may or may not know I have a huge amount of love for the Essie nail lacquer. They have every shade you could think of with some of the most quirkiest names. I just love standing at the Essie section in my local Boots trying to decide what shade of orange, red or blue I want, cause theres more than just the one of each shade. And it takes some serious thinking which shade is what your looking for. I only go to the Essie stand if I have a shade in mind.

This weeks shade is Lilacism!! I got this in a set that I actually think came out for mothers day. I just loved the 2 shades in the set it was this one and another called peach daiquiri I think its called. Anyway that shade is for another post. This post is all about the Lilacism! Starters I love Essie's packaging nice and simple with the white really makes the shade of nail lacquer pop out more. The name 'Lilacism' is cute and the shade itself is the perfect shade of lilac ever!!! If your looking for a lilac polish look no further, this is the one your needing. You only need about 2 coats of this to achieve the shade that you see in the bottle. Just look at those snaps ^ *looks at photos*^ isn't it just lovely? Will look really nice with a little tan in summer time too! Another thing, I love how long this stays on the nails, I have had mine painted since Sunday afternoon and I only have 1 chip (on the usual nail) which doesn't surprise me from the cleaning I have been doing this week, but I'm amazed at the rest lasting so long. I am really loving this weeks shade and I really recommend it, if your looking for a lilac shade this one is just so lovely.

Essie Nail Polish Lilacism £7.99

Hope you guys have enjoyed this little post on my current nail polish, I might make this a weekly thing as I really enjoyed it. Share with you what one I'm wearing and what my thoughts are on it.

Is there any polishes you recommend?

Thank You

Benefits "that gal" Face Brightening Primer

Okay so the other week I was having a bit of a rubbish time so I took to the world wide web and went on a shopping spree, of course was all make up related products I purchased. One of the main things I was excited for was the Benefit "that gal" brightening face primer, having used it years ago in my teens and loved it back then I hoped that the love for this product would still be the same. I wasn't wrong.

Lets start with the packaging shall we?! how cute is it?! Love the pink sky and the small pictures of the buildings with the little trees at the bottom, very sex and the city I think. Then when you open the box the tube has the images from the box also on the label so if you do through away the box at least the tube continues on with the cute packaging.

The primer its self can be used on make up free days or can be used as a base for make up, I have been using it on both. On my make up free days I feel it just enhances my skin making it look healthier and brighter and on my make up days it defiantly helps my make up stay on for longer. To get the product out you twist the bottom part till you see the product coming out through the little holes on the top. Its light and creamy in consistency, a light pink shade, blends into the skin perfectly. It is a rather expensive product however you only need a little, I tab a bit on my cheeks, forehead, chin and nose, just blending it in with my fingers. My skin feels lovely and soft after applying it. I'm so glad I purchased it again, I think its going to be a primer I will always end up going back to.

Is there any primers out there that you recommend?

Benefit "that gal" brightening face primer £22.50

I hope you guys enjoyed this post, let me know any thoughts or if you just want to say hi that would also be nice.

Thank You

Check In Tuesday #10

Hey Guys, how are you all doing? I cant believe we are on another Tuesday already?! Seriously where are the days going? We are almost in the middle of the month.

So here is another Check In with you guys from the past week:

  • Driving Progress Report: I have been going out and about in my mums car the past few days just getting all comfortable in her car and I'm slowly growing on my confidence. I am actually really enjoying it even though sometimes I do get nervous cause I'm in the car with my mum and I want to make her proud.
  • I went to see The Fault In Our Stars on Friday with my girlies, I read the book so I knew what I was letting my poor emotional self in for.....my goodness!! My eyes were still suffering on Saturday from all the tears!! I thoroughly recommend seeing it. If you can read the book first (its one those quick reads) do it, then see the film. Or see the film then read the book. Either way they are both awesome.
  • Carrying on The Fault In Our Stars (well kinda), I have been listening to a lot of music lately on my iPod. My current faves have to be The Fault In Our Stars Soundtrack my fave song on it has to be by Kodaline called All I Want (you need to listen to this beautiful song and watch the music video for it) and I really like Charli xcx song Boom Clap. I been listening to Ed Sheeran's new album too and of course Lana Del Rey (love her), that woman can sing. Her new album Ultraviolence is just beautiful.
  • Does anyone else just get paid then feel skint (poor) like the next day? haha honestly I just been paid and I have so much things happening this month that I feel the beauty treats are going to have to be put on hold this month. I have been raiding my cupboards and found a few forgotten gems so been using some of them in my routine lately. Might even blog about some of them.
  • I have a new addiction people and its youtube but more importantly its a certain channel, it s The Sacconejoly's!! They are this family that lived in Ireland they have just moved over to England and they have a girl who is the cutest little toddler ever, an adorable baby boy and 6 dogs!! They vlog every single day! Showing what they get up to in their general family life! I love watching vlogs and this family are my new favourites, Check them out HERE
  • I been feeling pretty happy and lucky the past few days on just my life in general. I'm so lucky to have some pretty awesome friends I honestly don't know what I would do without them I love them and they know who they are! I love my little poppet aka Gordee (boyfriend) he never fails to make me smile even when I have a down day. And last but not least my family, they have made me who I am today, I have had many ups and downs in my little life but I feel that they have made me who I am today which is a pretty happy and positive person. Thank You and I Love You.
That's all from me this week, I hope you guys have enjoyed this post. I haven't done much really apart from cry at films haha.

Be back tomorrow with another post.

Re-Gen Skin Radiance Daily Face and Neck Serum

So few weeks ago I was dawdling round Asda (doing a food shop honestly) and as per usual I stumbled into the beauty section (was there for ages) and this lovely product caught my eye.

2 words on the front of the box that stood out most about this product was anti-ageing and skin rejuvenation, well who doesn't want those 2 things? My skin had been acting up a little recently, I think it might be down to stress and the increase in temperature at workies. I do eat relatively healthy during weekdays (obviously allowed a treat at weekend) and I drink plenty water, but sometimes our skin just decides to be temperamental. As I was reading the box I noticed it mentioned how life can sometimes take its toll and how it can affect your skin, this little beauty helps putting beauty back in to beautiful skin with a formula that states works wonders. Well I was sold and it was put straight into my trolley.

Here's a little run down of what the Serum intends to do to your skin
  • Reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles by aiding your skins elasticity.
  • Your skin will feel firm and naturally hydrated.
  • Helps to reduce the appearance of blemishes and pigmentation marks.
  • Your skin will fell tighter and appear rejuvenated within 7 days of use.
  • Light texture and quick absorption allows for deeper skin penetration and comfortable use.
Sounds awesome right?! I loved the sound of this product, especially the reduction of the appearance of any blemishes and pigmentation as I do have some scarring from previous breakouts that I thought this could also help out with.

Now for a little bit of the science this serum contains an active ingredient called PCL Liquid which is an ingredient that locks in natural moisture to the skin which helps with skin regeneration and repair. It also contains Vitamin E which is an anti oxidant and helps fight the signs of ageing.

The packing of this product is pretty simple in its 50ml pump bottle with little sections of orange, its a product that probably likes to keep packaging nice and simple with it having lots of goodness in the inside, reminds me of bio oil. I have been using this in the morning and at night time, once I have cleansed and toned my skin I use about half a pump of the serum its light in consistency and white in colour like a cream and I massage this into my skin in circular motions round my face and down my neck, it has a lovely clean fresh scent to it. Soaks into the skin really quickly, it recommends to leave about 10 minutes before applying make up, so I usually get myself dressed let it sink into the skin and do its magic.

So far I have been using this for past 2-3 weeks and I am defiantly seeing the difference in my skin. It feels softer and it looks a lot healthier.

Re-Gen Serum £6.00
^Click the link to take you to Amazon.co.uk to get yourself some re-gen serum

Hope you guys enjoyed this post.

Hope your all well and happy.

Sending you all lots of love and fluffy hugs

Bourjois Bliss

To start off I just want to apologise that there wasn't a post up yesterday, I hurt my shoulder at work that by the end of the day I was in a lot of pain and just wanted to sleep. Today it has been much better just get a slight niggling pain every now and then, think I pulled something. So lets get right into it.

I'm a little late to the Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation loving group, but I am firmly a member of it now. I have been using it and the Cream Blush in shade Healthy Glow as my lovely little duo recently and I am so happy that I finally caved in and bought it.

I'm going to mention the packaging to start with as I just love it, I love that its a glass bottle which I always find makes a product look more expensive than it is, the cute little pictures of fruit on the label and I love that the pump is in an eye popping red colour. The foundation itself is just perfect to give you that lovely glow, I have mine in shade vanilla. The bottle is a 30ml bottle, as I mentioned it comes with a pump which I only need one pump of the product. Its light in consistency that I just dot it round my face, then using my Real Techniques Buffing Brush I blend and buff it into my skin. The coverage I would say this gives is a light to medium coverage, its great when I'm having a good skin day and don't have many spots or marks. Whenever I use this I get compliments on how good my skin is looking and how healthy I look. The 3 fruit pictures on the label is what really caught my eye about this product as you don't often see tiny fruit on your bottles of foundation do you?! Well they are what makes the foundation Healthy , you have the Apple which is to help our skin looking loverly and youthful, Melon to keep our skin all hydrated and Apricot to enhance your skins radiance. Sounds great right?! Well it really is, I am really impressed with this product.

Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation £9.99

Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation in shade Vanilla

Foundation all blended in giving the skin a lovely healthy glow

Now to go along with the foundation I thought I would try out the Cream Blushes that Bourjois also do, I went for the shade Healthy Glow. Got a bit of a healthy theme here. It comes in a lovely little coral coloured pot than when you flip it open you have the product on the base and on the lids side is a little mirror which is perfect for on the go. You only need a little of this product, just swirl your finger in the product and then blend it onto the apples of your cheeks. Healthy Glow is a lovely deep pink coral shade that gives you that lovely pop of colour on the cheeks without you looking that your wearing any blusher at all. I love that its a solid too so you can pop it in your bag without worrying about the product smashing and breaking into tiny pieces.

Bourjois Cream Blush £7.99

Swatch of the Cream Blusher in shade Healthy Glow

I hope you guys have enjoyed this post, have you tried this founation? did you like it? or have you tried any other of the Bourjois foundations? Would love it if you left a comment, I will reply :)

There wont be a post tomorrow as I'm finally getting to go to the cinema and see Fault In Our Stars and have a meal with my best girl friends!!!

Check In Tuesday #9

Wow its been a while since I done a little Check In Tuesday with you beautiful bunch. My life hasn't been that hectic really, there's been some changes at my work recently so I been working 9-5 a lot and when that place is hot and busy that you constantly running round on your feet it makes you sleepy, all you want to do is cook dinner chill and go to sleep. However I told my self I need to be more productive when I finish work so with that in mind I have been throwing myself right back in to the blog and gosh I have missed it. I thought one the things I would do with you was my little catch up posts I do once a week called Check In Tuesday which was a little run down on anything in my life. So here it goes, hope you enjoy.

  • One the things I been doing more which I am pretty proud of myself for is drink more water! My plan is to try and have at least 2 litres of water a day and so far I have been doing pretty good, it has really helped and improved my skin so far.
  • As you may or may not know I am learning to drive, I passed my theory test a few weeks ago, Yay me!! That its now time to think about booking the actual test which if I'm honest scares me so much. I'm not the most confident of people that I tend to put myself down by thinking there's no way I am ever going to be a driver and I'm never going to understand certain things. Well in fact the past few weeks since I been using the Bachs Rescue Remedy Spray my confidence in myself has really improved my instructor has been very impressed and if anything that has helped me gain a little more confidence too. My mum has even added me on to her car insurance that I can now go out and about with her which is also helping me to gain confidence and progress.
  • Gordee and I have started watching Breaking Bad again and we are loving it, forgot how addictive it is. You cant just watch the one episode and cause its on dvd its so easy to just watch a whole season in a day, but we are trying to make it last and spread it out as much we can.
  • I had a huge clear out on my iPod the other week. I had been meaning to do it for aaages and its something I always ended up forgetting to do but the other day I finally plugged it in to the laptop and had a good clear out deleting songs that I never listen too anymore, making playlists of good songs I forgot I even had. It was such a massive achievement when I had finished now I cant stop listening to my music on it without  having to skip lots of songs.

That's all I really have to say on this Check In, like I said I haven't done much recently other than work work work but I want to keep this up as a regular thing and even share with you some things that others might not find so boring that and it just lets you get to know me that bit more.

I hope you enjoyed this post and are looking forward to next weeks one. Leave a comment if you would like to and I will reply.

Get Summer Ready Feet!!

Hiiiii!

Now its safe to say that Summer has been happening over here in the UK, this means its time to bosh out the sandals, ballet pumps, flip flops basically all the foot wear that has your feet out and on show.

I have been using 2 products by Avon to help keep my feet in tip top condition. To start off I use the Foot Works Healthy All Day Deodorant Cream with peppermint oil, I'm not sure about you lovelies but when I wear pumps and its hot my feet get sweaty and I get super self conscious that my feet are stinking!! So in the morning after my shower and once I have applied my body lotion I slather my feet in this stuff. Its light in consistency just like a body lotion but for the feet. It helps moisturise your feet especially in any of those rough dry patches and the smell of the peppermint helps to mask any foot odour throughout the day. It is a genius product to say the least.

At the end of the day my feet ache from being on the them all day, when it comes to bedtime my feet have become part of my routine too. I have noticed that with the more walking I have been doing and any exercise the skin at my heels has started to harden so I use my Foot Works Beautiful Heel Softening Cream which is a lot thicker in consistency than the Deodorant Cream and I massage it in to my heels. I usually use at least 2 dollops for each foot then use my normal foot cream (also by Avon) and pop on my moisturising socks and let the creams do their work while I sleep. This stuff has most defiantly been working, I am noticing the skin becoming softer and less hard every time I use it.

I love anything by Avon's Foot Works range, at the moment these 2 products are my dream team for keeping my feet happy in the summer times. I could not recommend these to you lovely lot.

Avon Foot Works Healthy All Day Deodorant Cream £4.00

Avon Foot Works Beautiful Heel Softening Cream £3.50

^Both these products are on special just now, grab a bargain and click the links^

Hope you have enjoyed this post and I hope you are all doing good and keeping happy and positive. If you want to leave a comment that would be lovely, I do reply :)

Dove Purely Pampering

Alohaaaa!!!

So to get back into this blogging business I figured we shall start nice and simple with a current fave for the body!

Few weeks ago while I was in Tesco with Gordee I was wondering round the beauty department, just browsing at all the products that's out and about as I have been good and stayed away from places like Boots and Superdrug for a while. As I was browsing I came across this beauty by Dove. I am a sucker for Dove products anyway and this one caught my eye with the white of the bottle and the subtle baby pink writing and little image that when I seen it contained Coconut milk as well it was placed in our trolley pretty quick!

Now I still use my Dove Summer Body but I try not to use it everyday so days in between I have been using this. I am also still using Soap & Glory Smoothie, it is my bath time body lotion. That's right I have lotions and potions for different times and occasions I even have a lotion I use only when I have a night out. Anyway the Purely Pampering nourishing lotion with coconut milk and jasmine petals by Dove has its Deep Care Complex which a lot of Dove products have for keeping your skin in good condition. It nourishes your skin leaving it feeling lovely and soft with the smell of the jasmine aiming you to feel all lovely and relaxed. The consistency of the product is perfect a lot does go along way, its easy to rub into the skin and the lotion itself smells blooming amazing, you can actually smell it throughout the day and even at night time I notice my skin is still feeling lovely and soft since when I applied it in the morning. It can be used on all skin types and it also comes in other scents to.

I have been loving using this product and I thoroughly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a new everyday body lotion this one is perfect.

Dove Purely Pampering Nourishing Lotion Coconut & Jasmine £4.99

Hope you guys enjoyed this post if there's any body lotions that you guys like and think I would like too I would love please leave a comment below or if you just want to say hi that would be great thank you!

Its been a while

Hello beauties how the heck are you all?

So as the title says it most certainly has been a while since I blogged, what's up with that? Well I was getting focused on doing my driving theory test that it was consuming my evenings by reading all the stuff you need to know and doing so many practise tests, I decided I needed to focus on passing it and once I done that I would get right back on the blogging horse. I passed my theory about 3 weeks ago Yay!!! Then my laptop decided to be a complete poo head and catch itself a virus! Not kidding you I had so many pop ups and so many threats that I could barely use the thing. So I turned to facebook stressing that I needed to know where I could get my laptop fixed that's where my good friend Bethany came along saying her lovely boyfriend Blair can do it, so the laptop was sent away to theirs and came back 2 days later all fixed up and sorted acting like a brand new laptop, what gems that 2 are.

I have sooooo much I want to blog about, I'm currently curled up on the sofa with a bad head cold and a very sore back haha so I figured what better time to just blog away.

My life hasn't really done anything interesting since last blog, my work has become super duper busy with it coming up to summer so I feel like I spend most of my days working non stop then come home, sleep and do it all over again. Any free time I have has been pretty much spent with Gordee watching the Walking Dead we are all caught up with tv and my god what a series it is!! I'm no fan of zombies in the slightest but the storyline's of this are awesome. I got all caught up on Orange Is The New Black on Netflix what another awesome tv series brought by Netflix and I see that on twitter Netflix have announced season 2 of Hemlock Grove is coming soon, that will take up the space that OITNB has left. I have finished my The O.C binge and I am now watching all of Gossip Girl from the start again. I do mainly watch this when I have some me time and Gordee is away out with friends although he is also really loving a bit of Chuck Bass.

Reading books was put a little on hold when I was studying for my theory but once I passed it I put Mr Harry Potter to one side and threw myself into The Fault In Our Stars thanks to the lovely Crissy over at Whimsical Fawn for sending it to me, what a beeeeautiful story, honestly guys you need to read this its just so lovely. I'm waiting patiently for our local cinema to get it in July so I don't have to long to go now. So its time to get back on to my Harry Potter books I am now on the third and I am really enjoying it, I love the films but there's so much more in the books.

Its Gordee's birthday coming up this week and I'm so excited to give him his presents I'm not going to let it out on here just in case he reads this post (sneaky) but I really think I have done a good girlfriend job here and got something really awesome. I will let you guys know next week what it is ;).

I have had a few life lessons recently where I have truly learnt who my friends are and to truly appreciate them. I'm incredibly lucky to have the friends and family that are in my life who I love and who supports me throughout all of my life choices. I love them so much and I feel the recent changes I have made are the right ones and Im very happy.

I love you guys and I hope your all very well

The Body Shop Vitamin E Face Mist

Aloha!!!

So In a previous post I mentioned how I took a little spending stumble into The Body Shop and came out with quite a few treats and some have now become holy grail products and that is the Vitamin E Face Mist.

How the hell have I coped in life before this stuff came along I honestly have no idea. The Body Shop Vitamin E Face Mist £8.00 is a refreshing moisture boost spray for the face. It comes in a handy 100ml spray bottle and has a lovely rose scent to it. Its great as a instant boost I actually took it to the gym the other day and it was perfect for a quick refresh I will definitely be keeping it in my bag. What I have mainly been using this bottle of perfection for is setting my make up. Once I have finished applying my make up for the day I give at least 2 sprays to the face and my make up stays put for the whole day and gives you a lovely finish. This stuff is seriously that good. I have even been reading reviews and apparently its good if you spray it on to make up brushes its great for holding eyeshadow in place so I will need to try that out.

Honestly guys this stuff is pretty awesome if you haven't tried it you must, it will fast become a new favourite. It can even be used on all skin types so why not give it a go.

Hope you enjoyed my rambling

There wont be a post at the weekend as I'm off to see Katy Perry so will be posting regularly after the weekend. In the mean time have a fab one!!!

Soap & Glory Peach Party

Hellooooo!!

How are you guys? Hope your all well and happy

Now I have gone on and on about my love for Soap & Glory products since I started up this blog and I realise that majority of the products I have are skincare or bodycare. So I took a little dip into the adventurous pool and treated myself to a make up item.

There is actually quite a bit of make up to choose from this range but I decided to go for a blush as I only really have 1 or 2 and I wanted to add a new one with a bit of a bronze for summer! So with all that in mind I decided to go for Peach Party, a beautiful blush brick with 3 different shades that are bronze, gold and a rosey pink. It looks so pretty I almost don't want to use it. I have been using this for the past few weeks and I love the result it gives on my cheeks. I use my Real Techniques Blush Brush and I only lightly dab it on one side then blend it in the apples of my cheeks. As I have been using this just as a day look I haven't gone wild on the shimmer for highlighting yet but I thought I would show you the results for the look I have been going with it.

Soap and Glory Peach Party Multi-Colour Blush Brick £11.00

It adds a lovely healthy glow to the cheeks, this is becoming quite the staple in my make up bag these days :)

Have you guys tried any of the make up from Soap & Glory? is there any products that you would recommend?

Hope you guys enjoyed this post

Real Techniques Expert Face Brush

The other week I was in Boots and I couldn't help myself but to add another brush to my Real Techniques collection.

The brush I went for was the Expert Face Brush £9.99, I wanted to go for a brush that blends my foundation into my skin really well. I have been finding that some times my foundation has really needed to be worked into my skin for it to be all blended and not looking that it's just sitting on my face. So with this one I take one pump of foundation on the back of my hand and take the brush, just dab a little of foundation onto one side of the brush. Starting from my cheeks I start to blend the foundation outwards then a little on my forehead and chin again working outwards. So far so good, there's no streaky marks from the bristles which by the way are super soft on the skin, it blends in foundation really well and even better my foundation doesn't look like its sitting on my face. I love this brush!!!

Have you guys tried any of the Real Techniques brushes? is there any others that you would recommend.

Hope you guys have enjoyed this post.

The Body Shop Eye Definer in Smoky Plum

I was in The Body Shop a few weekends ago and whilst picking up a few of my favourite items I took a wander over to the make up section and decided to go for something a little out of my comfort zone and that is a colour eyeliner.

The Body Shop Carbon Eye Definers £9.00 come in 4 high pigmented shades, I went for a beautiful deep purple. It has a lovely smooth texture it's easy to apply and comes with a built in smudger  at the opposite end of the pencil which is great for doing a smoky eye look. It is also water resistant which is perfect for summer times for me as I can suffer from hayfever pretty bad and get watery eyes, least I know with this on its staying on. Applying this eyeliner it goes on pretty smooth and the staying power of this is really good I have been applying it in the morning gone off out and it has lasted all day, till bed time where I remove my make up using my Body Shop Camomile cleansing butter which removes it like a dream.

I have been using this on my top lash line and loving it, its a subtle hint of colour for the eyes which is great for day to day wear and its a great break from the black.

I also tried it out with a deep purple lipstick and it worked out really well.

Have you guys tried any of these liners? or any colour liners I would love to know what you guys recommend.

Hope you enjoyed this post

Superdrug Aloe Vera Mud Mask

Aloha you beautiful bunch, hope you are all well and feeling pretty happy now the suns showing itself a little bit more.

Todays post is all about a little pamper product I treated myself to about a month or 2 ago in Superdrug. Its their Aloe Vera De-Stressing Mud Mask, now I love a face mask and most of mine usually range from about £7-£10 however this little guy was super cheap so I have started to use it as my go to mask and use my more pricey ones if I have a bit of a breakout.

The packaging of this product is a lovely light green (representing the colour of the aloe vera perhaps?) 75ml tube. The writing on the tube is in white standing out from the green, it also has a cute little sketch of an aloe vera plant on the front with a little run down about the product. This one is all about De-Stressing containing Aloe Vera extract. And it aims to give you a soft radiant complexion and can be used on Normal to Combination Skin type.

The Aloe Vera helps to calm the skin and replenish moisture while the Dead Sea Mud cleanses and purifies pores.

As I mentioned in this post this item has become my go to mask at the moment, I mask once during the week (usually a Wednesday) and once on a weekend (normally a Sunday). I mostly use this on an evening after removing any make up. I squeeze an amount about the size of a grape, the product's colour is a light green, its thick in consistency and smells clean and fresh is the best way to describe it. I use my Oriflame mask brush and brush it on my face covering everywhere apart form my eyes and lips. I find using a brush a lot easier and saves getting mask all over your fingers and then on the tube if you need to any more product. I usually go off and tidy things up, make a cup of tea and watch a bit of tv leaving the mask on for about 15-20 minutes. It says on the tube to leave it on for 10-15 but I always end up leaving it on an extra 5-10 minutes. Once my times up I then go remove the mask rinsing 2 small round sponges and going round in circular motions round my face loosening the mask then use a face cloth in warm water removing any excess product, patting my face dry with a towel. After that I continue through my skincare routine by cleansing, toning and then moisturising leaving my skin feeling lovely and pampered.

This product is perfect for your weekly mask there is a variety of different types you can choose from and at such a reasonable price there's no question to not give it a try.

Dove Summer Glow

So guys its coming up to that season where the sun is ment to be out and shining bright and the temperature starts to get a little warmer, that's right I'm talking about Summer!! This means the skin is going to be out on show and I'm not sure about you guys but I don't like being pale like a ghost in summer times and I always feel a little better with a bit of a glow. Now I'm not a huge fake tan fan as I'm sure I'm going to apply wrong or I worry that I'm going to have one leg darker than the other. But when I notice the weather is slowly starting to change I think maybe its time to slowly get summer skin ready and use my tinted lotion.

The product I always turn to is Dove Summer Glow Fair to Medium £4.99, a lovely body moisturising lotion which gradually builds up giving your skin a healthy summer glow. One the best things about the this product is that it's not only really moisturising to the skin it doesn't leave any fake tan after smell it actually smells really good. I apply it in the morning after my shower making sure I get the awkward areas like knees and elbows. For my hands after applying the lotion on my body I wash them then squeeze a pea sized amount on my hand rubbing it in like hand cream. I don't want it to build up too much so instead of using it everyday I only use it every second or third day just to keep up the little glow I have.

I really love this stuff its one my favourite products for keeping up what little tan I can get or if I'm just looking to have a nice healthy glow. Have you guys ever tried this lotion? or anything similar?

Hope you enjoyed this post

Avon Calming Effects Loose Powder Foundation

So I'm not sure about you guys but with it coming to the warmer days I don't really like caking my face in a lot of make up, mainly due to the fact it would probably be dripping off my face through out the day. As I work in a place that can be pretty hot I prefer something that's a nice coverage but light to wear.

With all this in mind I stumbled across this little beauty coming out in the Avon booky. Avon Calming Effects Loose Powder Foundation £10.50, being a fan of their mineral powder foundation I figured I would give this stuff a go. It aims to be blendable and buildable giving you lovlely healthy looking skin with a built in SPF of 15. I figured why not give it a go and went for the shade nude.

When you lift the lid there's a little mirror built in and a little plastic thingy (cant think what to call it) that when you close the lid it presses down a little section so when you shake the pot some of the loose powder comes through on to the base, you then take a brush swirl it in the base bitty then give the brush a little tap to remove any of the excess powder. I then take the brush and use swirl movements round my face building up a good coverage. I really love this stuff it honestly feels that I'm wearing hardly any foundation. The packaging is lovely and simple, you get a good amount for your money and you wont be needing a lot either so it will last you a good long time.

Below I have taken photos on how I use it with Before and After photos I have even included bare face photo of myself (cringe) and a close up so you guys can see the difference this stuff does.

This is defiantly my new summer favourite product its just perfect with how light it is and the coverage is amazing.

Have you guys tried any loose powder foundation? What was your thoughts on it?

Hope you guys have enjoyed this post, it is good to be back.

Me, Myself and I

Aloha you lovely lovely bunch of people that are reading this

So I haven't blogged in a few weeks as I hadn't been really feeling like myself. I had been feeling rather down and quite negative which isn't like me at all. I was being really harsh on myself on anything I was doing, even my blog posts weren't sounding like me so I would just delete them.

Feeling like this defiantly wasn't like me so I took some me time, watched dvds and tv ( I rarely watch tv), I got all caught up on The Vampire Diaries and Made In Chelsea. I got my hair done, spent time with friends. My dad and my brother came up to visit from England it was great seeing them and spending time with them. Been spending time with Gordee getting all settled into our house and I slowly started to feel more like myself. We went and bought a proper camera the other day and since I got my hands on it I been snapping away like a mad woman. I am even going to get back into the gym, my bestie Mel and I are going back for a refresher at the weekend and are planning on being each others motivators. Will be a good way of getting out the house and getting good exercise.Taking some time out and focusing on me was kinda what I needed. I have no idea what made me feel like that but I can safely say I am over it now and back to thinking more positive and more like my happy self.

I hope you guys are all good, I'm glad I'm back and I cannot wait to get back into blogging.
